The Potter’s Inn is a restored Victorian Farm house. Originally built by Mr. Lowry, Wilmore’s first banker, the home was relocated and restored by Rudy and Pat Medlock in 2006. The inn hostess, Julie, enjoys offering guests a place to call home while visiting the Wilmore Area. Each morning she will prepare your breakfast and, if desired, can also prepare additional meals for you during your visit. If you’re planning a special occasion, ask Julie about catering options available. Conveniently located, visitors to Asbury University or Asbury Theological Seminary can easily walk the short distance to either campus. There are many historic, cultural and outdoor attractions in the surrounding area; Rudy highly recommends Shaker Village as a “must see” while you’re in the area. If you have specific interests, Julie is happy to help put together a list of suggestions for you. Just ask!

From Lexington: Take RT 68 (Harrodsburg Rd) south. After Rt 68 narrows to a 2 lane road, merge left onto Rt 29 (yield to on-coming traffic). Proceed into Wilmore to the second light and turn left on Main Street. In downtown Wilmore, turn right on Rice St (just before crossing the railroad tracks). Follow Rice St, which will curve to the right and become Walters Lane. The Potters Inn is on the right. The drive way is just passed the house and parking is in the back.
