This elegant turn-of-the-century Victorian Queen Anne style home was designed by renowned architect J.H. Jeffers for Stevens Point merchant J.L. Jensen in 1901. Three generations of the Jensen family lived in this house until 1987 when it was purchased and restored by present owners, Bonnie and Bill Maher as their private residence. In 1990 the Mahers opened their home as a bed and breakfast rightfully named Dreams of Yesteryear. Still today original golden oak woodwork, hardwood floors, leaded glass windows, breathtaking architecture, period antiques and exquisite decor are a few features that make Dreams of Yesteryear the kind of place Victorian dreams are made of. Dreams of Yesteryear is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
