Beginning of the Rest is a Christian non profit organization that is all about missionaries being refreshed in their relationships as family, well rested in their souls, renewed in their walk with God and ready for the rest of their journey. Its a space set aside for stillness, quiet, beauty … a place to pause from all the voices & commitments of missionary life, giving room for rest, refilling and a healthy reset. Come simply to enjoy our beauty-filled countryside all to yourself (35 acres), with the option of as little or as much engagement as you feel ready to receive through intentional conversations and times of debriefing. Our “resthouse” is a fully renovated 3 bed/2 bath + rec room. Can sleep 6-8 people. Open & fully equipped kitchen, lounge with gas fireplace, dining room, screen in porch. Equipped with wifi, TV, games, books, toys and outdoor playground and swings.
